The eyewitness
a liar,
he made up that "middle eastern" sniper
of our collective nightmare
to cash in on his
seven minutes of fame,
maybe he thought
there was a book contract
in his fantasy of fame?
More likely
he will find a few months
in the county jail
waiting to occupy his grim time.
Con artists, ego hustlers and bunko scammers beware,
America is operating on a
short fuse.

North Korea has nukes
and is
an evil
axis member in good standing
but we are not going to war,
because they are not a
pushover punk people
with something worth stealing.
Saddam doesn't have nukes
he has
a billion barrels of oil
and we are going to war
with his Iraqi Evilness
because his
broken down Babylon
on the skid's row
is easy pickings
for a
bully Bush
empire of

I thought I was getting somewhere. The kid agreed to read a biography of Che Guevara. Then he found out it was 800 pages. He forgot about it.

I thought I had convinced this rich guy to be against war with Iraq. But it turned out he just thought I was interesting. He is a rich guy with no interest in passing through the eye of a needle.

Last night I was in a living room with a 66 year old Palestinian man. He is a social worker. Someone asked him about the million Israeli checkpoints in his nation and he broke down and cried. My wife gave him a tissue.

There has never been so much pain
with so little hope.

The Tarot terrorist,
is starting to get a dark middle eastern look,
according to an eyewitness in the Washington Post
and William Safire thinks he might just be
Al Queda.
My guess?
He's protesting against consumerism
by killing consumers,
it's like
fighting a snow storm
by melting its flakes.
Silly psycho.

Who is in charge?
Bush is in front of the camera, he studies his bible every day, and so do White House and Justice Department staffers. They have holy study groups. I ask myself have the lords of global capitalism really put these idiots in charge? Remember the Shadow Government? And Cheney's undisclosed places of the heart?

Tell me their names.
Who secretly serves in his clandestine cabinet? Dr. Caligari? Dracula? Spike? Ming the Merciless? I just want to know who is calling the shots, aimed at Saddam. It can't be Ari Flaishadik. Saddam shoots back, I have a right to know.

The Troutdale Mall isn't what it used to be.
We went there on Sunday
and there was no giant wheel
of a glorious rainbow
announcing that the world had been forgiven.
And no born-again Christian motorcycle gang
true angels of hell,
proclaiming the final conflict,
presiding over
their empty empire
of evil.
All such former wonders, now gone from the Mall,
just sad consumers now remain,
looking for bargains
in a depression.
I found a wrap around pair
of black Mexican sunglasses,
and lying near
a wait-for-the-women bench,
they seem to me
a residue
of better times.
